Global Operations Apart
The difference between research that informs and research that misleads often comes down to fieldwork execution.
Every qualitative engagement uses moderators who are native speakers with local market experience.
Identity validation, professional credential checks, and digital fingerprinting prevent duplicate participation.
Cognitive debriefing, back-translation, and cultural adaptation ensure cross-market comparability.
A single project lead coordinates every market with unified reporting and consistent quality standards.
GDPR, PIPL, LGPD, POPIA — we manage data privacy compliance across every jurisdiction.
CAPI instead of CAWI, in-person recruitment where panels don’t exist, and locally calibrated incentive structures in 40+ developing economies.
Global Coverage FAQ
How we field research across 135+ countries, manage multi-market timelines, and ensure data quality in every jurisdiction.
In emerging markets where online panels are unreliable, SIS uses CAPI (computer-assisted personal interviewing), in-person recruitment through local field partners, and identity verification against professional databases. Digital fingerprinting prevents duplicate participation across markets.
Yes. Multi-country studies are our standard operating model. A single project director coordinates all markets with harmonized instruments, unified timelines, and consolidated reporting. We regularly field 10-20 country studies simultaneously across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC.
Forward translation, back-translation, and cognitive debriefing with native speakers in each market. The goal is conceptual equivalence, not literal translation. A satisfaction scale that works in English may require different anchor points in Japanese or Arabic to produce comparable data.
GDPR in Europe, PIPL in China, LGPD in Brazil, POPIA in South Africa, and local privacy frameworks in every jurisdiction where we field. Data processing agreements, consent mechanisms, and storage protocols are adapted per market before fieldwork begins.
Both, depending on the market. In major markets (US, UK, Germany, Japan, Brazil), SIS uses moderators from our core team. In other markets, we work with vetted local partners who are briefed on the study objectives and supervised by the SIS project director throughout fieldwork.
A 5-country qualitative study typically takes 6-8 weeks from instrument design through final deliverable. A 10+ country quantitative study runs 8-12 weeks. Timelines depend on respondent accessibility, regulatory requirements, and whether fieldwork runs sequentially or in parallel.
